Spanning 36,000 sq. ft. across four floors at 26 Federal Plaza in Downtown Manhattan, the GSA Federal Acquisition Services (FAS) was aiming for a flexible and environmentally sustainable new workspace for the consolidation of their offices.

The LEED Gold sustainable renovation, completed by Goshow Architects, created a space that reflects and supports the organization’s business strategy, culture and work processes. The reprogrammed space is designed to adapt and accommodate future change with minimum cost and disruption.

The new office is now a showcase model for future renovation projects for federal agency tenants in GSA-owned buildings nationwide. The space is designed to reflect FAS’ business goals and mission, while providing a healthy, comfortable, and sustainable work environment.
