245 Tenth Ave.
New York, NY
2010
In association with Della Valle + Bernheimer Design, Inc., and Metro Development, Goshow Architects produced construction documents and oversaw the construction administration for the new luxury condominium tower at 245 Tenth Avenue. This 54,000 sq. ft. residential tower along Chelsea’s High Line park in Manhattan contains twenty apartments and two street-level galleries. The design reflects the transformation of the district from a rundown industrial area into a vibrant residential neighborhood and cultural epicenter.
The façade is sheathed in an intricate combination of CNC-cut stainless steel panels and tinted glass. The complex building mass angles outward from the seventh floor to create visual interest and maximize space.
